Kryomek Aliens

28mm scif fi got me started in wargaming many many years ago and I've been missing it.  I've been playing Xcom on the iPad and it's got me wanting to start up again.

So, for Xmas I got some 25mm Kyromek figures to use as aliens.  Kyromek was a pretty average game that came out some 20 years ago, but the figures were excellent.  Looking around on the internet, I found that Kryomek figures were still being sold and one thing lead to another.

I'm going to use this for Tomorrows War, either for "Space Hulk" style or skirmish games .

scifi paper terrain

I've been missing playing scifi as no-one in my club seems to play any scifi other than Epic.

So, I think, how about playing at home?  That and an urge to play Space Hulk again made me start trolling ebay to see what I could find.

Hmmm, £130 for a copy of Space Hulk, I soo don't think so.

I found on the DrivethruRGP site some paper terrain that I could buy and make myself.

Didn't cost much, only a couple of quid and I get a PDF  for 25mm "space hulk" style corridors, rooms and other generic scifi scenery.

I'm going to print some of this out, made up a few boards and play some Tomorrows War.

Now, what to fight against.....

More 28mm scifi

Been busy and have now finished up my Xmas presents.

These figures are great.

28mm spider tank.  It's a resin model that is a pain to assemble but looks very Ghost in the Shell.

28mm Scifi

For Christmas,  I got a few 28mm scifi figures from Antenocitis Workshop which I'm thinking to use for Tomorrows War and also just for the pleasure of painting them.

I first saw these figures at Salute a few years ago and have been wanting them ever since.

I've started with a few figures.  I need to do the bases.  I'm waiting to pick up some bases from Kerr & King at Salute this year.  They have some really nice looking bases that will very scifi.

Colonial Marines, sorry, Exterminators in 15mm

Khurasan have released a 15mm "Xenomorph" eradication squad.

They look really nice.

Khurasan are doing some really nice stuff in 15mm. It's becoming hard to resist ordering some of their figures.

"It's just another bug hunt!
